Candle Vigil in San Jose de las Lajas
(HAVANA/CUBA/August 28/Puenteinfocubamiami.org)-
The Delegation of the Human Rights Party of Cuba,
affiliated with the Andrei Sajarov Foundation, in San
José de las Lajas, in Havana, held a candlelight vigil
in the home of activist Luis González Medina.
Last August 21st, several Human Rights activists gathered
at the home of Gonzalez Medina and after lighting the candle, prayers were
offered for God to intercede in the liberation of the people of Cuba, and in
particular for the freedom for political prisoners and prisoners of
conscience that fill Cuban prisons.
