Political police approached Cuban citizen to
confiscate a t-shirt with the word “Change/Cambio”
CAMAGUEY, CUBA – February 1st (Ernesto Cabrera Corría /
www.plantados.org) - An officer of the State Police showed up at the home of
Cuban citizen Rolando García Reyes, located at Street Transversal E on 3rd,
at the end of 2nd #17, Bella Vista in the city of Camaguey in order to
confiscate from Reyes a t-shirt with the word “Change/Cambio”.
Also, the officer threatened Garcia Reyes saying that if he was seen wearing
another t-shirt with the word “Change/Cambio”, he would be subjected to more
drastic measures. Moreover, the officer insinuated that said t-shirt was
provided by human rights activist Ernesto Corría.
Informed over the telephone from Camaguey to the offices of Plantados
hasta la Libertad y la Democracia en Cuba Ernesto Corría Cabrera, and sent
