SANTA CLARA, CUBA – February 26 ( Guillermo
FarinasHernandez,Cubanacan Press/Puenteinfocubamiami.org)- Last February
`1st, citizen Jose Raul Rios Caraballosa was arrested and is being demanded
to encourage his family to leave the peaceful opposition in Villa Clara.
Upon his regulatory visit in prison, the citizen told his father in law
Guillermo Muniz Olamendi, a delegate in Gibara of the National Liberal Party
of Cuba, that his arrest was mere blackmail, that the government wanted him
and his daughter to leave the opposition.
Rios Caraballosa is married to Martha Maria Muniz Bermudez, an activist in
the ( PLNC). The couple has a small daughter.
Guillermo Muniz Olamendi was given a document before he left the detention
Center stating that son in law was going to be transferred to prison pending
trial.
