HAVANA, CUBA - January 4 -( Dania Llanes Contreras,Marta Abreu Press Agency/Puenteinfocubamiami.org)- Last December 14th, peaceful opponent and delegate of the Democratic Party 30 of November "Frank País" Jorge Ramírez Calderón was expelled from his workplace at the Trinidad Municipality due to his contestary pacific activities, denounced Ramirez Calderon to this Press Agency over the telephone.

Calderon further stated that he used to work as a grass cutter for the Communal Services of the State in the above mentioned locality and was presently serving

sanction of two years under house arrest (only allowed to go out to go to work) for filing a formal complaint against Jorge Luis Tejera Luna, Chief of the political police in Trinidad.

On May 11th of 2007, the Head of the State Security in Sancti Spiritus personally threatened told the opponent he was going to be disappeared.

Jorge Ramirez Calderon holds the Cuban State Security responsible for his personal integrity as well as that of his family. He resides in Street Pedro Salquera #348, between Simon Bolivar and Francisco Javier Salquera, Sancti Spiritus, Cuba.
