“ Camaguey was filled with anti government posters before dawn”
CAMAGUEY, CUBA -January 20 (Roberto Valdivia.
Hernandez / www.plantados.org)- At daybreak and in several locations in the
city of Camaguey appeared many posters with anti government slogans,
especially those who called on the people not to attend the false elections
on Sunday, 20 January. Some read: DON’T GO TO VOTE , “STOP LYING TO THE
PEOPLE”, “DOWN WITH COMMUNISM”
Also, stickers were posted in various properties in areas at Versailles and
Colina with the words “CHANGE”, and countless of fliers were dispersed in
other streets of the city with the slogan of the “NON –COOPERATION WITH THE
DICTATORSHIP” Campaign.
In response, the Castro regime made a heavy weaponry military exhibition
along the most central park of Camaguey seeking to intimidate the population.
Reported via telephone to the office of Plantados, from the city of
Camaguey by Julio Cesar Campos Monje, Delegate of the Democratic Party 30 of
