"Young man threatened due to
friendship with young Cuban dissidents"
CIEGO DE AVILA, Cuba, January 22
(Roberto Hernandez Valdivia / www.plantados.org) – The National
Revolutionary Police in Ciego de Avila has threatened a young man of the
province with the alleged crime of Social Dangerousness because of his
friendship with members of the Democratic Party 30 of November in the
region.
Victor Diaz Alpizar, 19 years old, a neighbor of Street 4 # 108 Georgina,
Ciego de Avila stated that, Captain Eduardo Blanco Tamayo of Ciego de Avila,
is constantly threatening him with imprisonment if he refuses to cooperate
with police but the young man keeps responding that he is a free man and
decides for himself who are his friends, stated the source.
