They released anti
government proclamations at the Ariza prison.
RANCHUELO, CUBA - March 21 (Felix Gutierrez Reyes, Cubanacan Press /
Puenteinfocubamiami.org) - Last March 17th, unidentified prisoners released
anti government proclamations in the Ariza prison, located in the Cienfuegos
province.
According Juan Ruperto Alfonso Becerra, a collaborator with the Pedro Luis
Boitel Political Presidio, during the evening hours several hundreds of
manuscripts were thrown from the prison’s third floor. They had phrases:
Down with Fidel! Down with Raul! Down with the dictatorship!
This peaceful action elicited a large operational deployment of the prison
defense force headed by a Major that goes by the name of Pinol who was
screaming kill the perpetrators!
The above mentioned official also threatened common prisoner Erick “Tito”
Matos Perez because of his association with political prisoners of
conscience Librado Linares Garcia, Ariel Sigler Amaya and Marcelo Cano
Rodriguez.
